Conference
In raising awareness of violence linked to sensory impaired people, the project considered: whether sensory impaired people are more at risk in society than people without impairments; whether sensory impaired people unintentionally invite violence upon themselves because they are considered different and whether sensory impaired people need more care, support, guidance and training in society. These considerations and others were raised in national conferences held in the United Kingdom, in Poland and in Bulgaria.
